  • First: Write a Press Release: Headline, Lead, Quote, Facts, Links where necessary

  • Then: Hit social media immediately: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Whatever else

  • Remember to Tag: Media, Friendly local influencers, National influencers, Think both political and cultural

  • Stick around to boost: Retweet your coverage and take interviews.

  • Note on Interviews: Vett all requests, Stay on message, More than one language if you can do it, Keep pumping the interviews, repackaging them, and sharing them out

  • Get support: One person can interview; others can handle other things.

  • Accessibility: If you can add captions or provide a transcript do it upfront. If not, add languages, captions, and other accessibility dynamics in real-time as you can.
